About Me

I come from a hand art and photography background. My family is in the commercial photography business, and working in the studio with clients inspired me to pursue a career in graphic design
and advertising.

After graduating from the Art Institute of San Diego, I worked for a small advertising agency in downtown San Diego. I gained experience working directly with clients, creating ad campaigns, directing photo shoots, going to press checks, and seeing my work published.

After 5 years at the agency, I accepted a position with a small startup company to be their in-house graphic designer.  During my time there, I managed a successful design and production team, the company grew from 8 to 70 employees, and now earns over 80 million dollars annually.

In my latest adventure, I am pursuing a career in motion graphics. Most of the motion and 3D projects on this site are from my School of Motion (SOM) courses. I look forward to adding more personal projects soon.

When I am not sitting in front of my computer, you will find me outside mountain biking, climbing, surfing and skiing. I like racing cars too.
